Binsar has a wild life sanctuary encompassing an area of nearly 48 sq km. The wild life office records may show a good number of animals inside but if you do not see any you need not be disappointed as the sanctuary has a large number of birds of all seasons who keep you busy watching them. Then the different variety of trees including conifers, oak and rhododendron make your small treks here rewarding.
